Welcome
The Dairy Wagon is a mobile dairy processing facility, where farmers and their families from the Peak District and surrounding areas can learn dairy skills.
On board is equipment to make cheese, ice cream, butter, creams, yoghurts and other dairy products.
The Dairy Wagon is driven by a technician who teaches the farmer how to make the products.
The Dairy Wagon Moves to the Next Stage (Dec 2009)
The Peak District Dairy Wagon project was to run for a couple of years. However we, a group of the farmers that started the project, realised that there was still yet more to be achieved and we have now taken on the project entirely. A reflection of this new stage is a slight change of name, we are now known as the 'Dairy Wagon'.
We wish to thank the people and organisations who have supported the project over the past couple of years.
